Role Description
 

We are looking for a Lab Technician / Intern to join our team on-site. You will support the hardware development process by assisting with machining, assembly, machine operation, and overall lab organization. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, practical individual who wants to grow their skills in a fast-paced robotics environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain workshop equipment such as CNC machines, 3D printers, and basic hand/power tools

  • Assist in mechanical assembly, including sub-assemblies for robotic systems

  • Manage and reorganize workspaces, tool storage, and component inventory

  • Perform routine machine checks, calibrations, and basic troubleshooting

  • Collaborate with engineers to implement improvements in fabrication and assembly processes

  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized lab environment

Qualifications
 

  • Basic understanding of machining, fabrication, or mechanical assembly

  • Hands-on experience with lab/workshop tools (3D printers, CNC, milling machines) is a plus

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field

  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills

  • Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions accurately, and problem-solve on the fly

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
